Terms of Business
- A Normal Working Day is 7.5 hours, 9.00am to 5.00pm with a 30 minute lunch break, Monday to Saturday excluding Bank and Public Holidays.
- Additional hours worked in excess of the Normal Working Day will be charged for at our standard hourly rate.
- All costs associated with materials and tool hire will be invoiced to You in addition to the hourly or daily charge applicable. A deposit may be requested to cover the cost of materials or tool hire in advance of the works being undertaken. For bookings in excess of two days, stage payments may be requested.
- You are responsible for the disposal of any waste.
- Simply Handy reserves the right to impose a minimum charge of £30 for any job cancelled by You without giving at least 48 hours’ notice of Your intention to do so, excepting cancellation due to inclement weather.
- Preferred method of payment is BACS. As alternatives cash or cheque made payable to ‘Simply Handy’ upon completion of job.
- Simply Handy holds public liability insurance in the sum of £2,000,000.
