About Simply Handy

Simply Handy, the general home and garden handyman service has been in business since 2006. Since that time Simply Handy has successfully built up a loyal client base in and around Cranleigh extending across Surrey and West Sussex, principally by word of mouth.

This enviable reputation has been built upon customer satisfaction, reliability, and quality of workmanship.

History

Simply Handy was started by Ian Dollerson who had a 32 year career in precision aircraft engineering. Picture of Ian Dollerson, founder of Simply Handy Tired of the long hours and daily commute he found little or no time to carry out his own home and garden maintenance, let alone quality time to spend with his growing family.

Often thinking "If only there was somebody I could rely on to help me maintain my home and garden" he realised that other people were experiencing the same time pressures. He undertook a market survey of other households and realised there was an opportunity to offer a cost effective and efficient home and garden handyman service. Wanting to be more than just an odd job man, this handyman service would cater for the needs of other householders who just did not have the time to do odd jobs around the home and garden. Simply Handy would also undertake those do it yourself projects that regular trade’s people such as carpenters and decorators would see as too small.
